Rachel is the Creative Director at In Your Space Circus (IYSC) and a performer herself. Her passion has always been in physical theatre, clowning, performance and creating new worlds for audiences to enjoy. Rachel has 10+ years performing experience both onstage and in street theatre contexts across Ireland and the UK. She is passionate about creating fresh, innovative work on the streets, which sparks conversation and allows audiences to escape their daily life, if only for a second!

Rachel is responsible for conceptualising, directing, and producing IYSC’s most ambitious productions and she has a keen eye for programming, having directed IYSC’s flagship festival 'Carnival of Colours' since 2019.

She loves collaborative working, devising and typically works across multiple artforms, connecting with, providing opportunities for (and advocating for) artists across the NW and NI. Rachel is always keen to work with new artists, to nurture them to meet their creative goals!

I am Fire Performance & Circus Artist for over 10 years. Before finding my love of Circus I was a retail manager who was heavily involved with all operations of the business. As I developed as a Circus Artist I found a new passion for Producing & Creating Events & Shows.

Over the years I have curated entertainment line ups for festivals such as Knockanstockan , The Elysian Circus, The Secret Garden & More as well as working as a stage manager for many music events.

I have produced shows within Festival Themes when working closely with Bunclody Festivals such as full entertainment line up as well as fully produced shows - Alice has Talent ( Alice in Wonderland themed. ) & Tuatha De Dannen ( Irish Myths & Legends ).
