12:00 PM - 12:15 PM: Welcome and Introductions

12:15 PM - 12:30 PM: Introductions and Overview: Kath Gorman (Promenade) & Kevin Wratten (Split Second) provide a broad overview of the Future Producers programme.

12:30 PM - 1:30 PM: Meet the Future Producers: hear from the 2024 group about their experiences and insights.

1:30 PM - 2:30PM: Lunch

2:30 PM - 3:00 PM: Speed Networking Activities

3:00 PM - 3:30 PM: Industry Expert: learn more about the Production Manager role with: Mark Carry (Twisted Lane Productions), sharing his insights and production expertise.

3:30 PM - 4:00 PM: Industry Experts: hear from project partners Niamh Colbert (Spraoi) and Chantal McCormick (Fidget Feet) who share their experiences and learning for producing.

4:00 PM - 5:00 PM: Mentoring and Networking

Available Bursaries for the Producer Event


Promenade is delighted to offer 5 micro-bursaries to support attendance at both the Future Producers Industry Day and the National Circus Festival 2024.


Bursary Details

Each bursary is valued at €150 and can be used to cover your costs such as travel, food and accommodation for this year's National Circus Festival.


To be eligible, you should:

  • Have to be interested in learning more about the Art Producing world and making connections.

  • Be available to attend the Future Producers Industry Day on November 1st in Tralee, Kerry.

  • Priority will be given to individuals based outside Kerry, from underrepresented communities in the arts and freelancers.

Future Producers is a groundbreaking initiative nurturing the next generation of producers in Ireland. Delivered by Promenade and Split Second, in partnership with Fidget Feet, Macnas, the National Circus Festival of Ireland and Spraoi, this programme provides comprehensive training and mentorship, empowering participants to navigate the complexities of the arts industry.


Funding Credits:

Future Producers 2024 is funded by the Arts Council's Creative Production Supports Scheme and builds on Future Producers 2023, initiated by Fidget Feet with the support of an Arts Council Capacity Building Support Scheme grant. This initiative also receives support from the National Circus Festival of Ireland, Macnas, SPRAOI, ISACS, Fidgetfeet Aerial Dance Theatre, and Split Second.
