What are Promenade Supported Artists?

Promenade has received 2 year funding from the Arts Council’s Creative Production Supports Scheme 2024 & 2025 to provide support 10 artists.


Promenade Supported Artists are the artists that have been selected to receive producing, production & artistic supports from the Promenade team and a range of outside experts and partners during 2024 & 2025.

Elisa Gallo Rosso

Pitch'd Festival

Catch Elisa and her new street show Musica Maestro at Pitch'd Festival in Cork on September 1st. Musica Maestro is an interactive street performance that transforms everyday spaces into spontaneous musical landscapes.

Everyman Theatre

  • Elisa is the set designer and scenic painter for "Present Laughter", a brilliant vaudeville play featuring great performances. It runs September 24th - 29th.


Fanzini Productions



Fanizin Productions are having a busy Autumn meaning you have a lot of opportunities to catch a show!

Matt Szczerek - Kundle Cru


Circus Factory & Pitch'd Festival

In August, Kundle Cru are in residency for two weeks at Circus Factory in Cork, Ireland working on their new show 'Birds'.


On August 23rd, Kundle Cru will present 'Birds' as a Work In Progress at Pitch'd Circus and Street Arts Festival. Member Angelique Ross will also be hosting a juggling and move workshop at Circus Factory where you get a chance to move and juggle like Kundle Cru.


Galway Dance

On August 31st, you can catch Kundle Cru in Galway at Galway Dance. They will be presenting the Work in Progress 'Birds'. They'll be in residency further developing the show 28 August - 2 September.


Kundle Cru will also host a 'Movement and Creativity Workshop Jam' with after the Work in Progress


Tipperary Dance Festival

October 14th - 18th 2024

'A story about friendship and the need for finding your own flow'


Join Matt and members of Kundle Cru on an enchanting journey where imagination meets reality in "Monsters" a captivating dance performance for kids! Through lively choreography and vibrant storytelling, this piece explores the world of monsters, fables, and fears.


Can humans and monsters learn to overcome their fears and dance together in harmony? Filled with humor, heart, and a sprinkle of magic, "Monsters" teaches us that friendship can be found in the most unexpected places.

Twisted Lane

Supported Residency 2024

A week long supported residency for a ground based circus, physical performer in beautiful Connemara (Dates to be agreed with successful applicant from mid Oct-mid Nov).


This residency is to offer time, space and financial support for an artist to work on their own project with the addition of artistic and technical support from Aoife and Mark Carry as needed.


Twisted Lane would like to support a project that has already been through an initial development/research phase and could benefit from a dedicated week before moving into its next phase of development/production.

Multidisciplinary Workshop 2024

A 5 day workshop, bringing artists of various backgrounds and disciplines to play together and find intersections and connections between practices.


Following a very successful multidisciplinary workshop in 2022, Twisted Lane are delighted to offer another in November 2024.


This workshop is led by Aoife Carry and involves artists working together through a number of task based exercises to play, discover and explore. There is no set outcome to this workshop, the week follows the curiosity of the participants. The theme of this workshop is SCALE, with a focus on large scale work. Participants do not need to have a practice of large scale work, but there needs to be a genuine curiosity in exploring this area of practice through your discipline.


Twisted Lane will support 10 artists to join us in Connemara for the 5 day workshop. (one artist place will be reserved for a Gaeltacht Artist and will be supported directly through Ealain Na Gaeltact - please contact us directly for details).

VolkiDana


Pitch'd Festival

On August 30th, Polina Shapkina of VolkiDana will be previewing their show 'MAKOSH' in Circus Factory Cork as part of Pitch'd Festival 2024.


Dublin Fringe Festival

From the 12th - 15th September, Polina will be presenting her show 'MAKOSH' as the official premiere at Dublin Fringe Festival.
